"The Burnt Ridge Volunteer Fire Department (BRVFD) filed as a non-profit corporation with the Van Buren County Office of the Circuit Clerk on June 2, 1983...The corporation was formed for the mutual aid, benefit, and safety of  its members...BRVFD funding is from annual membership dues, county taxes, ACT 833, donations, and various grants."
